About Dr. Linn
Dr. Linn is a third generation orthodontist who has practiced in Whittier since 1990. His father Allen H. Linn and grandfather Jesse A. Linn were both practicing orthodontic specialists like Dr. Linn and like Dr. Linn all three have been instructors in the Graduate Orthodontic Department at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Jesse A. graduated from the Angle School of Orthodontia in Pasadena, CA and was one of Edward E. Angle’s (considered by many as the founder of the orthodontic specialty) first graduates. Jesse A. Linn was one of the first to practice the specialty of orthodontia in Southern California. His son Allen H. Linn graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1952. Allen H. studied the orthodontic specialty under the direction of his father Jesse A. Linn (in a preceptorship program). Dr. Kirk Linn graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1988 and was accepted into the Graduate Orthodontic Residency at USC that same year. Dr. Linn completed his orthodontic residency in 1990 graduating with an advanced degree in the specialty of Orthodontics and a Masters in Craniofacial Biology and Development.
